Top level Transnational meetings Final transnational meeting Peterhead, Aberdeenshire

The draft programme for the next transnational meeting is now been revised. In addition an updated list of entries, transport plan from Aberdeen to Peterhead are attached

Detailed schedule for the meeting is attached.

Don't forget the exhibition!!

Youmay give the reports, brochures and other publications from the exhibitionto the Lead partner for him to keep a complete set of publications from the project.

The Steering group members should convene the meetings in their own consortia for the Wednesday morning. Friday morning each consortia is expected to give a short presentation of ideas for future projects.

A separate article regarding the founding meeting of The Friends of North Sea Trail is published.

So far 80 entries for the meeting have been received by Hazel Riddell. She has been unable to acknowledge or respond to everyone’s individual queries. In an effort to ensure all details have been recorded correctly, can you please view the updated attached spreadsheet.

The spreadsheet summarises the details extracted from your booking form. If you consider any information to be incorrect (ie wrong) or require any changes, or if you still have an outstanding questions, please contact Hazel at hazel.riddell@aberdeenshire.gov.uk

Sheet 1 lists the accommodation and special diet/room requirements.

Sheet 2 lists the travel, field trip, Steering Group members and kilt hire arrangements.

There are still some people that have not given details of their arrival times. Hazel will need confirmation of these times as soon as possible no later than 5th March.

Registration forms will be issued on arrival at the Waterside Hotel, Peterhead.

Transport from Aberdeen to Peterhead

All buses will be supplied by ‘Victoria Coaches’.

The first bus will collect delegates from the AberdeenAirport at 17:15hrs on Monday 12th March.

People arriving in the morning or early afternoon are recommended to make their own way via a taxi or a service bus (No 10) into Aberdeen City Centre.

There will be a second bus to collect delegates at the Railway Station at 18:30hrs on Monday 12th March.

Because of construction works at the Railway Station, the bus will have to stop on Guild Street (this is the main road opposite the Station Hotel). The bus will stop on the Railway Station side of the road.

Please be at this location promptly with your luggage as the bus will not be able to wait very long. We apologise for this arrangement but it is out with our control.

The bus leaving the Railway Station at 18:30hrs will continue to AberdeenAirport and leave at approx 19:15hrs for onward travel to Peterhead.

On Tuesday 13th, a car will leave AberdeenAirport at 12:45hrs direct to Peterhead.

Another bus will leave AberdeenAirport at 16:30hrs. It will continue into Aberdeen City and collect delegates from the Railway Station (same arrangements as above) who are due to arrive at 17:37hrs. Due to traffic we are unable to give the bus’s exact arrival time (approx 17:45hrs), but ask that delegates wait at the above location. This bus will then continue to Peterhead.

We do not intend to pick up anyone other than at these locations and times, with the exception of those attending the Aberdeen City Reception on Wednesday evening or if they have been contacted separately.
