As a start for the NAVE Nortrail initiative to a heritage network on Lighthouses and maritime communication lines, initiated by the Norwegian consortium group within the NAVE Nortrail project, two seminars with Norwegian representatives only was organised last autumn.

A report from the seminars, one in Florø in September and one in Randaberg/Tungenes in November, is now translated into English, and are attached to this article.
To follow up the two seminars, the NAVE Nortrail partnership has been invited to an international seminar at Lindesnes, close to Kristiansand in Vest Agder on 23 & 24 October 2006. More then 30 participants are registered for this seminar, that will bring the discussions from the former ones into a trans national setting allowing the NAVE Nortrail partnership and its associates to bring the issue of lighthouses closer to the aimes and objectives of the project.
More information on the seminar at Lindesnes will be given at the NAVE Nortrail partner meeting in Skagen in September. Further, when finnished, a report will be made and published at this web site.
