An exhibition of Alex Wilson’s stunning photographs of the North York Moors is being held at the Sutton Bank National Park Centre from 5 to 20 February 2005.
|
The images were taken as Alex walked the 110 mile Cleveland Way from Helmsley to Filey and provide a colourful insight into the region’s unique heritage and landscape. The subjects include everything from coastal cliffs and smugglers coves to historic abbeys and rugged moors.
The coastal section of the Cleveland Way traversed by Alex forms part of the North Sea Trail, created to provide new opportunities for visitors to explore this fascinating and beautiful region by foot.
The exhibition also offers visitors the chance to read all about the walk in his new book “Moors, Dales, Nabs and Wykes – Rambling about the Cleveland Way”.
The exhibition is open daily from 11 am to 4 pm and admission is free.
Alex will be available for book signings on Sundays 6, 13 and 20 February.
