At the Bergen trans national meeting in June 2003 signage and the use of the logo when working with the trail was discussed. This article brings an extract from the conclusion to this discussion, as it was presented in a memo for the partnership July 2003.
Attached to the article, please find, as an example, the guideline on how to work with Nortrail signage in Hordaland, including the technical specifications on how all partners should produce the logo. (previously only presented within the "trans national meetings" section.)

In Hordaland they have made serveral boards with natural & cultural heritage information for those using the North Sea Trail (Nordsjøløypa).

The basic idea of the North Sea Trail is to regenerate a network of landscapes and pathways, linking footpaths and sites in recreational areas of the coastal counties encompassing the North Sea.

At the 3rd NAVE Nortrail transnational meeting in Gothenburg January 2004, it was decided that Norway should host the ”Lighthouses and maritime communication lines” heritage network. A working group representing the Norwegian consortium was formed, with Egil Larsen (Rogaland), Jan Aakvik (Møre og Romsdal) and Linn Knudsen (Vest Agder) as members. Together with project officer Jone Engelsvold, this group has taken the responsibility to form the following text, which is an invitation for the NAVE Nortrail partners to join this heritage network. The invitaton is also sent all partners via e-mail.
